The original front of this Victorian house commanded an extension that was in keeping with its heritage, while also achieving practical liveable areas. The addition of a family room and kitchen to the rear along side a updated laundry and second bedroom only complemented the new master bedroom with large ensuite and walk in robe upstairs.
The floorboards Sydney Blue Gum were replaced in the study, bed 1, bed 2 and hallway, flowing through into the new large family room. From the family room you can view the attractive loft style double garage, constructed in keeping with the existing building.
Some of the unique features are the oversized architraves, skirtings and cornice, 3600mm high ceilings upstairs and down with 2400mm high doors with glass to assist in insulating purposes.
Our team found the renovation of this timeless classic a joy and simply marvelled at the seamless blend of old and new.
